Great day in Limerick. Today we did limerick. It was a lot if fun. We met many people and handed them copies of Kingdom Revelator magazine. Several nuns passed by. They were heartened to see us. Friday is always good, especially when its sunny. People are off for the weekend and are happy.
CSE were in Windsor today.
Great being in Windsor today, some very interesting conversations, also was great to have Jason join us.
Lots going on here re the Queens Jubilee!
Cork Street evangelisation It is important to provide a Catholic presence outside the confines of the building of the Church. The ones who believe are already inside the Church, but all believers are called to go out and tell the others who do not know Him, about the Truth that can only be found in Jesus Christ in His Holy Catholic Church.
It is interesting in many ways to stand on the street as a representative of the Catholic Church.
The importance of every word and gesture; because I am aware that even all those who just walk by, stonefaced, avoiding eye contact, do nevertheless notice us.
There is the closed defensive faces, there is the amused looks, there is the annoyed and even angry faces. There is the mocking faces, there is the outraged faces that we have the audacity to be there; this is the result of decades of media brainwashing against the Catholic Church. There was a muslim who passed in front of me several times; each time he put his hand up to his head in a salute; it seemed like a mocking gesture. There was a woman who told me to f*** off with barely contained hate in her voice, and there was another woman who had a similar agressive expression, both in groups.
And then there is the ones who shows clearly with their faces that they are thrilled to see us, surprised maybe, but grateful and happy. One man shook my hand and thanked me.
The faith is still there; it only takes enough believers to muster up courage and give up some of their time to do what we are called to do; witness to Our Lord Jesus Christ, by providing a presence outside the confines of the Church.
Last Saturday, the best came last; two young teenagers came up to take the pamphlet, one of them said that he didnt believe because nobody had told him about anything, he had never received any instruction. Well there you go; the reason why we need to be out there; the pamphlet, the magazine and the short exchange between us, is a beginning, a seed.
Another young adult came up as we were packing up to go, he wanted to learn more about the faith and he wanted the reading material too. (He said it would at least be easier to understand than the Cork accent which he could not understand at all, as he was from Chile!!)

Evanglisatiom went well in Limerick saturday 7 May. Gave out many faith pamphlets and Catholic youth magazines ( Kingdom Revelator). People were delighted to get rosarys. It was a lovely sunny day and Our Lady of Guadalupe tilma brought a strong Catholic presence to the city centre.
